Jeffrey Zeuner, a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University, is seeking participants for their dissertation examining the experiences of fathers with a child with an eating disorder.
Participants must be a father of an adolescent (under 18) with an eating disorder (self-identified), with whom they reside at least part of the time. This study is intended to explore fathers’ experiences of raising a child with an eating disorder and understand how these men make sense of their parental role in this context. Participants will be recruited via information flyers at organizations and social media outlets.
Participation in this study will involve a 60-90-minute Zoom interview. As a thank-you for their time, participants will receive a $25 Visa prepaid gift card via email upon completing the interview.
Confidentiality/anonymity will be protected by anonymizing transcripts.
