Other notes
Our approach is to determine appropriate goals with the client that are client driven...and then work with clients to help them achieve those goals. We work our of attachment theory which believes that we are all created to want to be deeply connected with important others, and when things hurt/go awry we find ourselves using maladaptive strategies endeavouring to find ways to be "OK"...even if they don't work very well. We work to stay current with evidence based literature, use feedback enhanced therapy to improve outcomes to ensure a compatible style with clients. We are client centred, and work collaboratively with the client.
