TORONTO, Oct 27, 2017 – The National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC) is proud to announce, that with a $15,000 grant from the Bell Let’s Talk Community Fund, presented at last week’s 6th annual Zest for Life event, it has reached its fundraising goal of $70,000 to support the addition of a web-based instant chat option to its existing helpline services.

What IDPD means to me

In honor of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I’d like to share with you the story of someone very important to me and why I recognize not only this day, but every other day, as a day to celebrate the inclusion of persons with disabilities. I must preface this blog with a “bear with me” as I am quite passionate about this subject and indebted to its content.

My brother was born with Cerebral Palsy.
